Accessing the UZH data network from a Notebook
The following means of access are possible to the university’s data network and thus to the internet:
Cable connections to the data network
There are public areas and workspaces with network sockets for your Notebook at the University Centre, the Irchel campus and at several external UZH sites.
Public areas with WLAN access
Our wireless network is available in many public areas of UZH.
In both cases you are requested to log on. Use VPN for this purpose to create a stable and encrypted connection to the university data network.
