Digital Teaching and Learning

Instructors and students need digital services that are as smooth and user-friendly as possible. We lay the groundwork to make the sure the university is digitally fit for the future, and continually and consistently improve the quality of digital services in teaching.

Digital Teaching Methods

Digital teaching formats are essential to university teaching. New technologies are used to offer flexible course structures and to develop innovative formats for instruction. Teaching staff use shared digital solutions to plan and carry out their teaching activities. And digital teaching methods allow students to learn at their own pace, taking into account their background knowledge. This allows the valuable time with teaching staff to be used for more interactive activities.

Digital in Mind

Here at UZH, we want students to experience and engage with the various aspects of the digital transformation in their studies, and learn how to harness and use digital tools. Students are given the skills to responsibly use the opportunities offered by digitalization. UZH’s Digital Strategy explores the digital transformation in teaching and learning and its impact on higher and continuing education. More information can be found on the website UZH Digital.
